MEGAN KARDEN

I work at Corkcicle where I manage all domestic customization on your favorite insulated drinkware items, and I work with a team of designers to create the brand's product design and development.  Prior to this I have worked in marketing and design at a small design firm in Dallas where I evolved my ability to connect consumers with a brand. I spent time at VEX Robotics where I contributed to the design work needed fro special events, catalogs, and product packaging. Intermittently throughout my career I have done a wide variety of freelance graphic design work.

I am a huge Universal fan and I love a Disney park day! I'm originally from Dallas, but I knew Orlando was home for me from the moment I got here. With some of the worlds most popular attractions and the most beautiful beaches right in my backyard, I'm never hard pressed for an adventure! I work mostly with digital media these days but my true love is painting. Particularly kids in their Halloween costumes, whether they are super excited to show off their sick new look, crashing from a sugar high, or just tolerating the uncomfortable dinosaur suit for the sake of the candy, theirs always a strong emotion to capture. I'm always working on something, even if it's just for me, I like to play around to stay sharp. I tend to work on these projects while watching shows and you could definitely see the influence. I speak in the Office quotes, so why should my visual communication be any different?
